RRB :--Syllabus, Question paper pattern- Junior Engineer Section Engineer
Age Limit :18-35 years
Educaitonal Qualification : For section Engineer Bachelor of Engineering inthe concerned branch. For junior Engineer Diploma
in the concerned branch.
Recruitment Process : There shall be negative marking in written examinations and marks shall be deducted for each wrong answer @1/3 of the allotted marks for each question.The syllabus for the wriitten examination will be generally in conformity with the educational standards and/or technical qualifications prescribed
for the posts. The Question will be of Objective Type with multiple
answers and likely to include question pertaining to General Awareness, Arithmetic, General Itelligence and Reasoning and
Technical Ability for the post . The Question paper will be English, Hindi, Urdu and Local Language and duration of the examinatiobn
will be 2 hours with 150 questions. The Railway Recruitment Bord, at its discretion may hold additional written test(s) and/or interview/skill test if considered necessary for all or for a limited number of candidates as may be deemed fit by Railway Recruitmet Bord.
Basic Pay: Rs.9300-34800; Grade Pay: Rs 4600 for Section Engineer and Rs. 4200 for Junior Engineer
DETAILED SYLLABUS
1. Arithmetic :Questions on Arithmetic will be designed to test accuracy and rapidity in working.
2.General Awareness : Candidates will be expected to possess a broad knowledge of current event and matters of general interest,particulary relating to India, Including Indian Railways.
3. General Intelligence & Reasoning : The questions will be designed to the test candidate's power of reasoning and his ability to draw inferencess.
4. Techical Ability : The questions will be designed to the check candidate's technical ability from the various Engineering aspects :
Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic ,Pway
